Barokgrootmeesters spelen Purcell & Blow Werken van Purcell en Blow
De Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin, dat zijn barokmusici uit de Bundesliga. Denk niet dat hier, zoals de naam wellicht doet vermoeden, een stoffig academisch muziekclubje zit. Dit zijn stuk voor stuk begenadigde musici die zich het vuur uit de schoenen spelen. Een flitsende Purcell, een felle Blow, ze hebben het allemaal in hun virtuoze vingers. Vocalconsort Berlin werd in 2003 opgericht. Jong dus, maar zeker niet onervaren. Zo staan de leden ook op de loonlijst bij Collegium Vocale Gent en het RIAS-Kammerchor. En dan weten de kenners genoeg.
